Local Accounting (LAC) contains the local accounting activities in a given country and ensures compliance with statutory financial reporting requirements and regulations.

• Manages the accounting activities within own area in accordance with the agreed targets.
• Expert contact for complex accounting issues.
• Ensures implementation of new standard operating procedures and the application of quality procedures in accounting area.
• Ensures compliance with Nokia accounting principles, internal controls policies and reporting procedures, as well as with external rules and regulations.
• Maintains productive relationships with internal / external stakeholders and authorities.
• Acts as a professional advisor and mentor for staff / workteam / taskforces.
• Responsibility for IFRS legal entity accounting & reporting with focus on
  • BS review and P&L variance analysis
  • Maintenance of close checklist
  • Maintenance of error log
  • Aged item management: identify, escalate, follow up
  • Preparation of Q forms
• Support for internal controls
• Support to FAM for questions and issues arising from projects or daily business concerning accounting; relates also to EY support
• Main point of contact to R2R in alignment with FAM
• Support to FAM with regards to questions related to IFRS legal entity BS and P&L and support in interface to Nokia stakeholders
• Prepare and coordinate statutory posting and statutory financials

Knowledge & Experience

• Bacherol's/Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Financial Accounting & Reporting (min 4 years of experience)
• Local Statutory Reporting is an advantage
• Internal Controls
• Finance Tools & Processes (ERP)
• Collaborates, good team player
• Analytics
• Fluent in English
