Supply Chain Solution Analystlocated in
Reporting to thetherole is responsible to plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties in the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing of mechanical (Plastic/Sheetmetal/Machining/Cable& wireharness/Packaging/Hardware)parts.
Price validation by reviewing cost breakdown, negotiate with supplier to meet should cost price.
Drive cost reduction activities by validating parameters, alternate sourcing, alternate material, packaging and transport cost optimization,
Engage with mechanical part qualification, tool transfer activities, FAI/CPK measurement data,
Prepare, collect and maintain engineering data related to part production processes
Periodical review and validate supplier material costing.
Provide RFQ support for new tool/EC tool/new project/local transfer enquiries.
Drive suppliers to participates with JIT, SMI programs to meet company delivery requirements.
Manage and ensure assurance of parts supply issues due to tooling, machine capacity & raw material on monthly basis.
Engage with suppliers on MOQ, LT & SPQ reduction activities.
Drive and execute procurement process setup such as VMF, agreed supplier’s T&C, MCO and ECN internal & externally to comply company requirements.
Engage with customer designed products stability assurance & approval process.
Review and Validate suppliers tooling maintenance data, asset lists, asset handling & asset storage periodically.
Conduct process audit with existing suppliers & new supplier qualification audit for qualification support when necessary.
Review tool/supplier capacities when it involves customised parts during high demand surge/drop
Engage with CFT teams and if necessary with customers on material sourcing activities during NPI stage
Work with global teams and provide updates when necessary
Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training in Injection Moulding Process.
Typically requires 3 years of experience in Injection Moulding
Use of the following tools may be required: Electronic Assembly: color code, component, and schematics.
May require various PCB operations. Testing: oscilloscope, cable and harness testing, trouble shooting, component testing, logic analyzer. Inspection: bare board, systems, components, cable and harness, microscope, measuring tools. Mechanical & Electrical Tools: taps and dies, alignment tools, measuring tools.
