DESCRIPTION

Using this experience, you will drive digital transformation with regulated and deregulated utilities in North America (NAMER). This role will predominately focus on customers in the Western US.Your responsibility will include engaging with a selected group of customers and strategic industry partners, attending and speaking at industry events, and leading field/ sales enablement activities, hence creating significant new business opportunities for AWS. You will enable the AWS customer teams selling to industry accounts to drive their day-to-day interactions. You will work closely with AWS solutions architects and partner teams to develop, promote and/or support cloud patterns and solutions. You will work closely with the AWS industry solutions, marketing, compliance and security, policy and startup teams to help evolve AWS offerings for more rapid cloud adoption.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and execute on a strategic market development plan in line with the AWS Energy – Power & Utilities (P&U) industry strategic direction.- Coordinate regional field enablement and engagement initiatives.- Understand the technical requirements of customers and work closely with the internal industry solution teams to guide the direction of our services and product offerings.
- Participate with strategic planning and support the creation of annual strategy narratives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience writing technical articles, speaking at technology conferences, and contributing to open source
- Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
- Experience interfacing with customers (Enterprise, SMB, and Startups) and ability to convert customer requirements to high level architecture solutions to build on
