The team builds the foundation for the HCM Cloud product for SuccessFactors. The product management team will provide direction and leadership and drive solutions for platform services to meet requirements from both internal and external customers and different module teams.

About the role

As a Product Manager (DevOps) specializing in daily deployment and micro-delivery, you'll lead our organization through significant transformation of the release process, ensuring continuous delivery of incremental improvements leveraging automation tools, CI/CD practices, feature toggle techniques to safely introduce new features into production environments with rapid innovation and high-quality standards. You’ll partner with stakeholders across the organization (Engineering, Operations, Security and Application PMs), navigate and lead teams through organizational changes in adopting new tools, processes, and methodologies. You will lead the charge in driving the adoption of new tools across the organization, guiding teams through the necessary process modernization to improve efficiency and innovation. This role requires to address resistance to change initiatives and build momentum for transformation. You’ll also play a pivotal role in defining a comprehensive migration strategy to onboard existing and new microservices to the new CI/CD framework maximizing the benefits of this architectural paradigm shift.

Required Skills and experience:

• 5+ years professional/industry work experience with a strong drive for change management and ability to lead organization transformations effectively
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 2+ years of technical product management experience with a focus on continuous delivery and release management
• Strong leadership and change management skills to influence stakeholders, navigate through the face of challenges/push-back and embrace change with confidence.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles (CI/CD pipelines, containerization, orchestration tools like Kubernetes)
• Proven record of leading change initiatives successfully from inception to completion
• Solid understanding of DevOps concepts - Incident & Change Management processes, Feature toggle, Micro-delivery process, automated testing frameworks and version control systems
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g Jira and Confluence)
• Familiarity with compliance and security standards (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA) and their implications to DevOps practices would be plus
• Exposure to public clouds (i.e. Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Demonstrate technical curiosity and passion for exploring new technologies for future technical roadmap via continuous learning and self-development
