You will manage & provide support to multiple cross-functional teams, driving the execution and management of effective project controls measures that relate to scope, time, cost, and quality.
Reporting into the Project Director, the postholder will ensure that all works and outputs are delivered consistently and in line with both contractual and business requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:

- A key member of the project delivery team, The Project Services Manager will provide leadership and be accountable for all aspects of Cost, Planning & Scheduling, Procurement & Risk functions of the project
- Take a leadership role by task managing a Project Services team that delivers excellence across all disciplines
- Has a technical understanding of all the constituent functions - Cost engineering, Contract Procurement and Administration, Scheduling, Equipment Procurement, and expediting & Risk Management
- Ensure alignment between project controls, design and construction teams to support the project needs, andthe integration of all functions of schedule, cost, change & risk both internally and externally
- Capable of supervising and communicating effectively with the Project Services team to ensure complete understanding and fulfilment of operations and project objectives, andeffectively communicating with all levels of project and operations management and with our Client
- Resource management – ensure the project is adequately resourced to meet the project needs
- Be responsible for setting out and maintaining the Quality requirements, Standards and Procedures for the project services team
- Work with the project team to direct, define and lead the development and continuous improvement of framework processes and delivery outputs in accordance with Client requirements
- Able to make clear and concise presentations to Jacobs and Client management
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster and grow positive relationships within the Project Services team, across Jacobs, and with our Clients and partners
Das bringst Du mit
- 10+ years in an Engineering Procurement and Construction Management Company and/or project construction site in the heavy industrial sector
- Local working knowledge of delivering complex schedule and cost driven projects within the European / German Marketplace
- BSc or MSc in a recognized Industry field
- Proficient German (at least B2 level) & English speaker
- Ability to travel in-country as per project's requirements
- Primary Location: Germany
- Work Location: Home office & Site Location
