Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).

Job Overview

· This position is for WLAN Test group for Qualcomm Connectivity Group.

· Candidate will be actively involved in Automation and Testing of WLAN chipsets.

· The role involves automating features and testing WLAN Qualcomm chipset.

· The candidate will get exposure to WLAN/BT/Coex modules of Qualcomm connectivity solution.

· The candidate will work on futuristic products for Wearables, IoE and Automotive markets

· Candidate will be actively involved in supporting the existing automation framework through feature additions, enhancements and maintenance

Experience: 6-9 years

· Good knowledge of WLAN protocols and networking .

• Very strong debugging/problem solving experience using network analyzers (Omni-peek, WireShark etc) and other relevant tools

• Deep Knowledge and understanding of WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards and features like WPA/WPA2, WPS, WiFi Direct, Miracast, WMM, u-APSD, and 802.1x based authentication schemes.

• WLAN WIFI 6/7 Test experience is preferred.

• Strong experience and proficiency in python programming or any other programming language .
