As a at Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) DACH Europe, you will be accountable for guiding and coordinating the finance activities for the HBS division in the DACH region (Germany, Austria & Switzerland).
Key responsibilities
Lead, prepare and present region’s Annual Operating Plan, rolling forecast/estimates. Complete timely reporting, including Monthly Highlights, Pulse, variance thoughtful assessment, and Monthly Financial Reviews.
Manage financial performance and implement finance strategies across different countries to achieve committed business performance and targets.
Lead and support financial ownership of Fixed cost and Indirect spending, identify opportunities to direct and drive our cost to the appropriate levels and ensure costs are accurately matched to the regions / functional areas that are receiving the value
Coordinate, communicate and complete monthly financials forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital, Cash Flow). Develop and execute sustainable working capital improvement with key stakeholders.
Drive and optimize the Management Operating System (MOS) and ensure deliverables are well understood functionally aligned and executed to deliver on time
Provide accurate and timely analytics, reports, and insightful observations to managers and executives to increase cost management efficiency and effectiveness.
Communicate effectively with management concerning financial objectives and key business metrics
Guide, coordinate, and drive DACH HBS financial performance for the region, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and procedures.
Perform financial closing activities and facilitate internal and external audit requests. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Travel 10-15% depending on business requirements.
Key skills and qualifications
ACCA/CECCAR/CPA or relevant professional qualification is preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis and planning
Excellent thoughtful skills, with experience in project accounting and controls
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, advanced intermediate in Excel.
Systems literacy in HFM, HSP, SAP, Cora, digital finance, Tableau and other Finance tools
Good communication skills, fluency in English and Intermediate German is required.
