We are IBM ZOS (Z Operating System) Platform Management professional working on Z Enterprise Systems and we build the most secure systems for our Banking and Enterprise customers to deploy their mission critical applications. Also, We provide atmost security and Data management on Z systems. The mission critical applications run on zOS and all the Platform management / Simplification is taken care by a IBM ZOS product. The platform Simplification / Modernisation product mainly focus on HCD IO configuration and zArchitecture, IOCP knowledge is useful. This would help customers to support zOS IO configuration with a unified and simple to use platform – which enhances the overall user experience.

What you’ll do:
To Build the world most secure system via Z systems which helps customers to deploy their application, also provide a platform to deploy Private Cloud, Stand alone systems hosting mission critical application, also to defend againist threats like Cyber Threats, etc and making the enablement experience quicker and easier.
- Architect, Design and Develop Features related to zOS platform Management & simplification related to IBM Z IO Configuration.
- Develop platform management software to enhance user experience

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience,
- Strong C programming & strong data structure skills,
- Git/Github
- Driven by want to learn about z/OS, z/VM, System z, Mainframe
- Assembler not matter/independent the architecture
- Wanted Skills – great if already (some) experience but not required, and important to be build up moving forward
- PLX or PL/1
- C
- Data Structure
- System z Assembler
- Good To Have – z/OS Basics
- z/VM Basics
- Experience with I/O Configuration (IOCP, zArchitecture etc.)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- zOS Assembler, PLX, JCL, Rexx, Java, Javascript, Unix system scripting Shell/Python.
- zOS architecture,zVM Basics, System programming, Hybrid Cloud, Network Management and Virtualisation
