Drives and provides oversight and support for the implementation of programs and projects while ensuring effective alignment with the organization’s mission and the program’s goals • Determines, monitors, and reviews project/program scope, costs, schedule, resources, interdependencies and risks • Leverages technical knowledge to operate in a digital environment • Works closely with technical SMEs and project teams
Responsibilities:
- Works with teams to identify and overcome obstacles which arise during the delivery of a project - identify risks and support mitigation or escalation of those risks with project teams as required
- Provides overall support, guidance, and management of all aspects of a given project, including setting up of project plans or working through Agile approach; identification and assignment of project tasks; identification of dependencies and status reporting
- Manages dependencies of varying complexity, potentially planning and feeding into larger programs and portfolios
- Helps to identify resourcing needs to provide optimum support for project deliverables, day to-day activities and changing priorities
- Schedules and facilitates project meetings and training
- Measures performance to ensure project is progressing compared to original plan/budget - including frequent communication of status / updates
- Understands, communicates to, and manages complex stakeholder groups
- Leads project scheduling process with clear milestones, resource pan, deliverables, dependencies, and critical path
- Agile methodology - familiarity with Agile Project Management ways of working, setting up and monitoring of work sprints etc.
