As the technical project lead for the thermal management of key sub-systems of sustainable next-gen aircraft, powered by Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Hydrogen Gas Turbines or Hybrid Systems, you are expected to define the system architecture, coordinate and control trade-off analyses, system modelling and simulations, performance assessment for integrated thermal management systems and sub-systems, heat exchangers, as well as electric propulsion.
Responsibilities
Leading efforts on component design and development for thermal management components as well as system architecture definition and novel concepts development for thermal management sub-systems
Provide expertise in an area of heat exchangers, electric propulsion motor cooling and their integration, CFD and thermal analysis
Close collaboration with subject matter experts on architecture definition, systems, and component engineering, providing system level guidance, defining the trade-off studies and participation on system modelling and analyses including preparation of V&V plans
Definition and planning of system development, leading design reviews and the relevant team(s)
Preparing tasks for colleagues and integrate their results into your system development.
Degree or above in a relevant engineering domain, Masters/PhD would be preferred
Multidisciplinary or thermal system engineering experience.
Good command of English language
Advantageous Experience
Demonstrated experience of Heat Exchanger design and/or manufacture
Demonstrated experience with vapor cycle cooling or air cycle cooling systems
Demonstrated experience in project management with smaller or larger multidisciplinary teams
Aerospace experience
