As a Software engineer you will be

• Responsible for designing, developing and delivering (including post launch support) scalable solutions to support our Finance and Tax teams globally.

• Working closely with internal business stakeholders from Finance and Tax teams to understand the use cases and build end-to-end solutions.

• Forging strong cross-functional relationships with business partners across various finance and engineering teams to successfully engage, understand and solve their needs.

• Strong Track record in developing enterprise application integrations (Recent experience with Workday Studio preferable).

• Thorough knowledge of Software Development Life cycle and QA processes.

• Proficiency of building restful APIs for internal and external products.

• Strong Understanding of Relational Databases and experience with MySQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL.

• Experience working with XML/XSLT/JSON and various document transfer formats such as EDI and ISO.

• Prior or current techno-functional experience in on-premise / SaaS based ERP applications will be an added advantage (Oracle / Workday/NetSuite).

• Working knowledge of Python / Java.

• Understanding of hive / iceberg data structures.

• Ability to think analytically and effectively and apply logic to solve problems.

• Skills required to thrive in a fast paced work environment while being detail oriented and decisive.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, functional solution engineers, fellow engineers and stakeholders on the projects.

• Clear and concise communication skills to disseminate information about your work, design, and tradeoff decisions, both in writing and verbally.
