Job Description:

As Supply Planner, you will play a key role in the Safety and Industrial Business Group. In this role you will make an impact by managing supply chain product flow to support customer requirements. Reviews material flow parameters such as order quantity, lot size, replenishment interval, safety stocks, lead times, planning strategy and recommends appropriate levels to support the business/customer requirements through a Supply Plan shared with the different sources of supply related to the portfolio assigned. Monitors and reports disbalances between Demand and Supply, suggesting alternatives to build a feasible supply.

The impact you will make in this role:

• You will be a fundamental part of the supply chain of the SIBG business, ensuring an excellent level of service to customers.

• You will be in charge of a portfolio of products that you must prioritize and manage permanently to ensure supply, ensuring that you maintain a healthy inventory level and mix without affecting stock shortages.

• You will participate in projects to ensure the handling of correct parameters in our replenishment tools. With this, you will ensure that the Lead Times, Safety Stock and Purchase Minimums are adequate to guarantee an optimal purchasing and inventory management process.

• You will monitor the main causes of inventory shortages (backlog) that affect customers, generating improvement plans continuously, in conjunction with other support areas (Demand, Supply Sources, Business).

• You will be responsible for estimating Inventories and Backlog on a monthly basis in order to understand and understand the Inventory and Backlog.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the followingqualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or related.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics, Customer Service
  • English Level B1-B2+
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PowerBi, AS400.
