This role will specifically focus on the Radiology, imaging, specialty service lines with an intent of improving our customers outcomes through data driven strategies. This role needs a working knowledge of healthcare operations and will require limited on site work.
Job DescriptionResponsibilities
- Support the delivery of customer commitments, by planning and completing assigned advisory work with high quality and on time and on budget.
- Use project management principles to operate multiple projects in parallel.
- As assigned, lead other team members in driving deliverables or workstreams on projects.
- Independently collect, validate, analyze, and synthesize data to support project objectives.
- Apply critical thinking and various problem-solving techniques to frame, shape, socialize and implement solutions aligned to project objectives.
- Leverage analytic tools and processes to complete detailed analysis and evaluations.
- Prepare and deliver succinct, clear and insightful and influential executive-level presentations and reports.
- Support the engagement communication plan, including simple issue escalations and ongoing program communications. Support the development of standard work by practicing good knowledge management and being detailed in project documentation.
- Establish credibility and develop relationships with mid-level customer managers.
- Facilitate effective, cross-functional meetings, and working sessions with customers and GE stakeholders.
- Practice change leadership and role model LEAN thinking during projects.
- Support external research and benchmarking in support of customer and GEHC objectives.
- Develop competence in all GEHC Strategic Advisory Services focus areas and, over time, subject matter expertise in a single focus area.
Initial Focus of Role (in addition to essential responsibilities)
- Support technology planning projects.
- Responsibilities include data analysis of equipment, market and financial data.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Facilitate and coordinate projects across business functions and roles
- Comfortable with large data sets and capable leveraging tools to efficiently verify data for accuracy and completeness
- Basic knowledge of data management principles and analysis including Excel based strategies.
- Ability to travel 20% .
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a business, healthcare, operations management in Radiology, process engineering focus or 4+ years in a healthcare related field
- Radiology, imaging subject matter expertise a plus
