Build Operational Excellence capabilities across Teva Canada Sites.
Oversight and ownership of Gross Margin Enhancement activities across Teva Canada Sites.
Engagement cross-functionally at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Ownership of site metrics to identify opportunities to drive improvement.
Ensure the adoption of fundamental OPEX principles across Teva Canada Sites such as 5S, Gemba, visual factory, standard work, etc.
Training campus personnel on Operational Excellence principles.
Management and development of direct reports and indirect (if applicable) reports.
Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining 100% compliance with all assignments.
Responsible for maintaining work areas and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Batch Record instructions.
Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned.
Your experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent education.
10+ years relevant progressive experience in a manufacturing environment
5+ years’ experience as a change agent/leader in a lean environment, preferably pharmaceutical production. Preferred: Operational Excellence experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food processing industries
Lean certification preferred
Computer proficiency with comprehensive working knowledge of MS Office products (365)
Excellent Excel Skills, Project management and advanced presentation skills.
Experience in and working knowledge of a variety of functions such as manufacturing, quality, validation, and supply chain. Experience with and an in-depth knowledge of cGMP and other applicable industry regulatory requirements.
Experience in Pharmaceutical or Food industry
Travel between Teva Canada sites located in different geographic locations (~25-30km apart) within the province of Ontario. Travel to other Teva North American sites as well
