As an Associate Product Manager, you would be supporting Event Automation Product Management colleagues to deliver successful business results whilst gaining exposure to all aspects of the discipline, including:
- Connecting with customers, prospects and other market stakeholders to identify needs, validate market requirements and quantify opportunities
- Performing competitor analysis and promoting unique IBM competencies
- Prioritizing requirements gathered from customer, partner and other market feedback to maximize development investments
- Building packaging and pricing as appropriate to market conditions
- Analyzing the financial aspects of product development and delivery to reduce cost and ensure profitability
- Developing clear messaging that will fuel the sales and marketing assets in support of launching products into the market.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3-5 years of industry experience preferably in Product Management for Enterprise B2B products or SaaS products – managing product roadmaps, collaborating with engineering teams, and translating complex technical requirements into actionable product features
- Strong general business interest
- Ability to perform fact-based research and derive insights
- Solid communication skills and willingness to engage with our customers and users
- Technical aptitude and an interest in technology”
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Familiarity and understanding of Cloud technologies. Understanding and experience with Event Driven and Integration technologies such as Kafka, Message Queuing, APIs, Application Integration.
