Lead a 150 person technology team (with a blend of FTE members and managed resources) responsible for developing technology solutions to address complex business requirements
Partner with the business to manage the technology budget and prioritize Book of Work and deliverables
Manage the implementation, enhancement and scalability of platforms, ensuring convergence to global consistency, standard platforms, mitigation of key risks (controls), and alignment with architecture principles.
Drive transformation to agile product delivery, including adoption of concepts akin to business agility, organize around value and lean portfolio management
Drive developer productivity, monitor and improve DORA metrics for the group
Represent Citi at external regulator reviews and give updates representing technology.
Ensure Technology operates within Risk appetite, including cyber risk appetite. Further to that, actively improve controls through automation and ensure continued improvement in risk and control culture
Oversee relationships with key 3rd party vendors including software providers and extended workforce providers, which may include RFP processes
Establish appropriate management governance processes while delivering on regulatory and associated data programs including successful and timely closure of Issues/CAPs/MRAs/BSER breaks
Drive and implement Citi Technology-wide initiatives for continued process improvement such as supporting Citi’s data architecture strategy & controls automation strategy
Manage the performance of the group including mid and year end appraisals, management of promotion pipelines and succession planning
Foster an inclusive, diverse and ethical organization
Qualifications:
Significant experience in the Asset Servicing area.
Preferably experience of Securities Services, Custody or Securities Operations Technology in a Bank.
Possesses an observable and impactful delivery track record, including the architecture, build, deployment, integration and ongoing management of large-scale technology ecosystems
Demonstrated skills in developing and executing strategies for transformation programs
Strong influencing skills and ability to work in an environment where priorities are frequently changing
Proven ability to establish and maintain business partnerships and client relationships
Experience analyzing client requirements and developing suitable, cost effective solutions
Comprehensive understanding and awareness of appropriate corporate and regulatory policies
Experience in performing complex problem solving and business trade off decision analysis
Experience of work in a process driven environment
Demonstrated people leadership / management
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
