In this role, you’re expected to:

Citi has embarked on a multi-year Finance Transformation initiative to implement a new Global Financial Accounting and General Ledger platform that provides a daily ledger in every legal entity, linking ledger balances and contract level reconciliations to our daily settlement records and contractual commitments. The Strategic Ledger program as it is named, selected Oracle Cloud as the technology platform of choice, after a rigorous technical and functional assessment of the firm’s current ledger platforms against leading industry solutions. The new platform provides enhanced technical capability and supports our finance transformation strategy and realization of our Target Operating Model. The outcome will be a robust global process, governance, and controls to ensure consistent and materially accurate, complete, and timely ledger data and results.

As part of the role we require Data Conversion specialist able to carry out below mentioned roles and responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliation, ensuring correct attributes are sourced from Product Processor

• Provide input for mapping transformations required between legacy and strategic attributes

• Provide input to conversion functional design & provide meaningful explanation of variances.

• Analyze and investigate data sets between converted data and legacy data

• Perform fit/gap analysis and identify solutions for gaps and opportunities for optimizations and improvements to system and process

• Manages the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary

• Participate and support the testing phases of the project including:

Active leadership in working group sessions, planning and various

reviews sessions to identify and facilitate remediation of detailed

Participate in cross-functional working groups to drive consensus and

resolution for agreed actions and targets

Responsible for reviewing updated project plans and key milestones

related to project completion

Qualifications & skill sets:

10+ years of relevant experience, in financial services with a focus on accounting, transformation and program delivery

Previous experience in the implementation and good understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and Local GAAP Accounting rules.

Understanding of accounting rules and standards for financial reporting.

Knowledge of Oracle, SAP or similar ledger platforms is a plus

Organizationallysavvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret.
A strong track record in driving global change within a finance function

In depth knowledge of banking products / systems preferred.

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or other business related field is required; CA or CPA equivalent will be added advantage
