Job Summary (Primary function)

The primary function of this role is to manage the annual SOX lifecycle by planning, training and reviewing documentation as it pertains to internal controls over financial reporting in addition to assisting with the broader finance group with monthly, quarterly and ad hoc projects.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

·Responsible for SOX compliance including documentation, training, and coordination of testing for global internal controls over financial reporting

·Assist with preparation of internal monthly financial reports and quarterly external SEC reports

·Assist with documentation of technical accounting policies and memos

·Participate in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts

·Support external auditor quarterly reviews and annual audit requests

·Participate in special projects as needed

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·Detail oriented and highly organized

·Proven analytical, critical thinking and project management skills

·Demonstrates the ability and motivation to work independently with minimal oversight

·Skilled in time management and able to prioritize tasks

·Highly proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

·Experience with accounting software applications including SAP, Hyperion and AuditBoard

·Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required

·4+ years of progressive accounting experience, public accounting firm preferred

·Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley 404
