About This Role
We’re seeking a payments leader to set the vision for growth through payment innovation and strategic payment partnerships in North LATAM (e.g. Mexico, Colombia, and Peru). In this role, you’ll be building on top of one of the biggest subscription services in the world — helping us achieve an even higher level of business performance, and evolve to a broader set of payment capabilities. The role requires engaging internally with a broad cross-functional team including business development, product, legal, analysts and data scientists to name a few and requires deep collaboration with global and regional business leaders across various domains. Moreover, this role requires managing and contracting external relationships with key partners from financial institutions, card schemes, and fintechs in order to drive best-in-class payment performance and innovation, all while keeping customer experience a priority.

You will be a high-impact individual contributor whose responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:- Make use of our payments infrastructure to improve the performance of existing payment methods, while evaluating any new payment methods that prove to have incremental value
- Seek out innovation in the payments domain by considering consumer’s needs, relevant regulatory and technological trends that could influence Netflix’s approach to payments in the short-term vs. the long-term
- Work alongside the Partnerships team on managing relationships with financial institutions, card schemes, and fintechs in order to drive best-in-class payment performance and innovation
- Own key payment metrics for your markets and derive actionable insights into improving the experience for our customers, improving performance, and ensuring efficient cost structures
- Partner cross-functionally throughout the organization (Product, Engineering, Customer Support, Legal, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to get things done - whether that be optimization or market expansion and launching features and products that will drive growth in our business
Qualifications- 6+ years experience managing very large CNP/recurring payments, either from a merchant, issuer or acquirer perspective
- Deep knowledge of payments technologies relevant to Mexico, Colombia and Peru
- Highly analytical with the ability to use data to make decisions
- Deep experience partnering and negotiating with payment partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Impeccable judgment and integrity; ability to make key decisions quickly and autonomously
- Existing network of relationships across the LATAM payments ecosystem
- Ability to juggle multiple critical tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus
- Additional languages a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed across LATAM and the U.S.
