- EY Consulting – Life Sciences Sector Coordinator / Operations Lead Level: Assistant Director | Reports to: Partner – National Life Science Leader Sector Practice Location: [Insert Region] | Practice: ________________________________________ Role Purpose Drive operational excellence and enable profitable growth of EY’s Life Sciences sector across Consulting service lines. This role serves as the strategic and operational anchor, ensuring robust financial performance, coordinated execution of sector strategy, and effective go-to-market alignment across Pharma, MedTech, Biotech, and HealthTech subsectors. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 1. Sector Performance & Health
- Manage sector P&L analytics — revenue, margin, pipeline, and utilization across service lines.
- Own forecasting cadence, variance analysis, and sector health reporting.
- Deliver monthly dashboards and insights for leadership decision-making. 2. Strategy Execution & Governance
- Support execution of sector strategic priorities and annual growth plan.
- Coordinate cross-service line initiatives and track strategic KPIs.
- Manage leadership governance – calls, reviews, reporting cadence. 3. Business Development & Market Activation
- Partner with BD and Marketing to run sector campaigns, client targeting, and pursuit analytics.
- Track pipeline health, win rates, and account performance.
- Support development of sector thought leadership and POVs. 4. Research & Insights
- Conduct market benchmarking using IQVIA, EvaluatePharma, Scrip, and other databases.
- Generate actionable insights on market trends, competitor movements, and growth areas.
- Produce executive-ready sector reports and dashboards. 5. Alliances & Ecosystem Coordination
- Manage sector alignment with EY alliances (SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow, AWS, Google).

- 8–12 years in consulting operations, sector management, or business performance roles.
- Prior experience in Life Sciences sector (Pharma, MedTech, Biotech, HealthTech) preferred.
- Proven ability in financial forecasting, business analytics, and strategic program execution.
- Strong knowledge of analytics tools (Excel, Power BI/Tableau) and CRM platforms (Salesforce).
- Education: Bachelor’s in Life Sciences / Business / Engineering; MBA preferred. ________________________________________ Core Competencies
