Data and Process Governance:
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of logistics data.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement and manage process improvements and best practices within the logistics function.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and data management teams to enhance data quality and integration.
Logistics Sourcing Management:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for logistics services and materials, including transportation, warehousing, and packaging.

- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure service levels and cost efficiency.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing structures.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives.

Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity, process inefficiencies, and supplier performance.

Trade Operations, Transport, and Reverse Logistics Manager
Trade Operations Management:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of international trade, including import and export activities, compliance with global trade regulations, and necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and timely clearance of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize trade efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
- Monitor trade performance metrics and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Transport Management:
- Design and execute transportation strategies to achieve timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Manage relationships with carriers and logistics service providers, negotiating contracts and optimizing routes.
- Monitor and assess transportation performance, addressing issues as they arise and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
Reverse Logistics Management:
- Oversee the reverse logistics process, including the handling of returns, repairs, recycling, and disposal of products.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for efficient reverse logistics operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to effectively manage and resolve reverse logistics issues.
- Analyze reverse logistics data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
3PL/4PL Management:
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) and fourth-party logistics (4PL) providers to ensure high-quality service and performance.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and address any issues with 3PL/4PL partners.
- Evaluate 3PL/4PL performance and collaborate with providers to implement improvements and innovations.
KPI Management:
- Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to trade operations, transportation, and reverse logistics.
- Use KPI data to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional - CSCP) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics management, data governance, or process improvement roles.
- Proven experience in sourcing and supplier management within a logistics context.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent understanding of logistics processes, data governance principles, and sourcing strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and logistics management software (e.g., ERP systems, data visualization tools).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and lead projects to successful completion.
Trade Operations, Transport, and Reverse Logistics Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certification(s) such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) would be an asset.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in trade operations, transportation management, and reverse logistics.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, transportation logistics, and reverse logistics processes.
- Experience managing 3PL/4PL relationships and leveraging KPI data for performance improvement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS) and ERP systems.
