Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five cloud security engineers to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Security Issue Remediation:
- Oversee and manage security issue remediation requests to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and resolve risks.
Configuration Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain secure cloud configuration baselines for cloud platforms and services.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Consultancy Requests:
- Act as a trusted advisor, fielding and responding to cloud security consultancy requests from internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on secure architecture, cloud security best practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
Process and Procedure Development:
- Develop, document, and continuously improve processes and procedures for cloud security operations.
- Align practices with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Playbook and Runbook Creation:
- Design and implement cloud security playbooks and runbooks to streamline incident response and operational activities.
- Ensure team preparedness and consistency in handling security incidents.
Standardization of Tooling and Services:
- Define and standardize security tooling and cloud-native services across the organization to enhance operational efficiency.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the cloud security framework.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with other IT and business teams to ensure cloud security initiatives align with business objectives.
- Communicate key metrics, risks, and project updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud security architectures and cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong experience with security configuration management and cloud security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Benchmarks)
- Proficiency in automation and tooling for cloud security, such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline security.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- AWS Certified Security Specialty, GCP Security Certification, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent certifications
- Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
