Your key responsibilities
You must be a great storyteller and content writer with outstanding project management skills. Your main responsibilities will include working with the GDS Client Service BMC Leadership team and drive campaigns across all service lines. Track progress and help teams with measurement and best practices. We need someone with expertise in managing all communications channels, including but not limited to social media, internal sites and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the needs and preferences of our audience and develop tailored communication campaigns accordingly.
- Demonstrate exceptional copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills to create compelling content that captures attention and conveys our brand message effectively.
- Collaborate and build relationships across our matrixed organization, fostering teamwork and leveraging networks to achieve communication objectives.
- Exhibit strong project management skills to oversee all Client-Service Campaigns, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes.
- Translate the business agenda into high-quality, audience-centric communications that align with our brand identity.
- Display advanced listening and interpretation skills to gather insights and feedback, adapting communication strategies as necessary.
- Encourage creative and innovative thinking to bring fresh ideas and approaches to our communication initiatives.
- Possess strong influencing abilities, particularly when working with stakeholders without direct authority.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in managing and advising senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and support.
- Pay exceptional attention to detail, showcasing outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Exhibit excellent project management, problem-solving, and delegation abilities to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on deadlines, displaying the ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Fluent English skills (written and verbal)
- 3-5 years in marketing, external or internal communications roles.
- Must have stakeholder and campaign management skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Previous experience in large, matrix organizations
- Prior experience with a professional services firm, IT company or a PR agency
