Consulting – Process COE FS
As part of our EY – Process COE Team, you will help clients develop their Performance Improvement initiatives and identify potential opportunities for performance improvements drive them. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions. The client base spans across Banking/Insurance/ Wealth & Asset Management domains.
Your key responsibilities
- Identify process improvement opportunities using automation, technology upgradation & process standardization. This includes having multiple skills set to perform tasks like Process Mining, Process Mapping and Process Re-engineering
- Conduct workshops with clients to perform current state As-Is process assessment and design & optimize Future state processes as per leading practices & industry benchmarks
- Create L1-L5 “As-Is” and “To-Be” process mapping using tools such as ARIS, IBM Blueworks, Signavio or MS Visio. Experience in process mining tools such as Celonis, iGrafx and other tools like Alteryx
- Perform current state analysis, identify key areas of improvements, build a future state (covering areas like re-imagined steps, people skills and tech/automation) and facilitate its delivery execution to realise the intended benefits
- Identify and quantify business benefits from delivering/ achieving future state in terms - Improved customer and employee experience, Reduction of costs and risks and increase in revenue etc.
- Validate and obtain approval and track benefit delivery. Implement benefits tracking mechanism for business post solution delivery.
- Deploy effective metrics/KPIs to measure process effectiveness, maintain a repository of updated business processes, and mentor improvement projects to realize benefits
- Develop and present process improvement recommendations to clients
- Collaborate with team members across geographies on project for solution delivery
- Develop and maintain productive working relationship with clients and other parties
- Translate business requirements to technical language and model (good to have)
- Manage/ supervise teams of people on project work (if required)

- Consulting experience is a good to have

- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

- Stakeholder engagement with an experience of presenting to senior leadership is advantageous
- Open to travel (Domestic & International)
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Have experience in FS sectors (like Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets, Wealth and Asset Management)
- 5-10 years of work experience in business process reengineering/Process transformation by developing process modeling (to-be state) and measurement system
- Experience in documenting Business Process flows, Creating/Updating Standard Operation Procedures, and documenting business
- Certified Black / Green Belt - Process Improvement Techniques/Certification (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Exposure to tools like Visio, ARIS, BlueWorks, Celonis, iGrafx, Signavio, etc.
