As a Technical Project Manager I inGLOBAL TECHNOLOGY ADMIN,you will support technology projects and programs that drive business goals and enhance firm’s capabilities.Tech for Social Good (TFSG) drives impact in our communities through the skills of our tech workforce.We leverage skilled volunteerism of our tech employees to build tech capacity for socially focused organizations and increase access to tech experiences for community members. We do this through ideation and hackathon-style events, pro-bono tech solution delivery, consultation services, and educational offerings.
Job responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing technology projects, breaking down objectives into manageable tasks and activities using analytical reasoning and technical skills
- Support the management of project resources, budgets, and schedules under guidance, ensuring efficient allocation and progress towards project goals
- Identify potential risks and follow established risk management practices and policies under supervision
- Engage in stakeholder management, fostering relationships and ensuring alignment with project objectives under experienced team member guidance
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, platforms, and software tools relevant to project scope
- Facilitate communications with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders for planning and executing programs.
- Manage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across programs.
- Engage and train volunteers for programs.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Baseline knowledge in technical program management, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Experience in supporting relationships with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and clients for project success
- Coordinate program work stream meetings and track weekly updates and scorecards
- Travel domestically to support in-person execution of programs.
- Comply with JPMorgan Chase’s Employment and Engagement of Minors Firmwide Standard, including undergoing an annual criminal screening.
- Demonstrate strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment across tactical and strategic initiatives
- Leverage experience in Project Management or Program Management, specifically within a global team and at scale.
