What you’ll do:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and address any concerns effectively.
  • Monitor and manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices, reduce overdue balances, and achieve collection targets.
  • Proactively contact clients via phone and email to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner. Work closely with internal departments such as sales, billing, and customer service to address client concerns and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Manage workload and complete assigned duties within given timelines
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account balances. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate records of payment arrangements, and collection activities including status of account, all contact attempts and method of contact.
  • Create and maintain tasks to ensure timely follow up with customers regarding payment or promises to pay.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all collections activities.

    Skills and knowledge you should possess:

    • Minimum of 2–3 years of collections experience, specifically in B2B transactions.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Exceptional investigative skills, with the ability to provide sound judgement.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Effective at working in a team environment while managing individual priorities and duties efficiently
    • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, including sales, finance, and operations.
    • Basic knowledge of Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, Google Meet)
    • Experience with Salesforce a plus
    • Experience with Zuora a plus
