Citi are looking to hire an experienced originator to work as part of its highly successful structured equity franchise, focusing on the Western Europe and Sponsors client base.

By joining Citi’s Structured Equity Solutions (SES) business, you will be a key member of the desk focused on the primarily private side clients which include Corporates,

What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:

• Leverage your contact network and introduce them to the Citi offering.

• Work closely to understand client needs with the aim of increasing client satisfaction and Citi revenue.

• Advise team in strategic positioning and closing transactions with various internal stakeholders (trading, legal, credit and risk etc.).

• Forge a relationship with Citi Banking and Citi Private Banking to leverage Citi's franchise and source relevant buying and selling opportunities for clients.

• Lead strong governance and controls through close partnerships with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.

• Obtain and maintain allregistrations/licenseswhich are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe.

What we will need from you:

• To be considered for this role, you will need to have had a client facing role working with equity solution products and have established relationships with the private side client base who are investors of these products.

• You will need to be fluent in English. Other Western European language skills may be beneficial

• A history of building and maintaining client relationships with the correct client base

• Strong knowledge around the Equity products, including the latest product developments and how these can benefit client portfolios.

• An understanding of how to assess the risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
