To receive, store and distribute raw materials within the site.
Manages Receiving, Warehouse, Reservations, Shipping Process, Sterilizer Scheduling and Product distribution to Tier 1 efficiently & effectively. Constantly works toward streamlining Logistics processes to improve product flow and eliminate non-value-added activities.
Works closely with Procurement, Planning, Operations, Suppliers and Quality Departments to ensure smooth flow of material and achieving committed delivery performance.
Select and hold Transportation Providers accountable per agreed contracts. Monitors the carriers' on-time performance and quality of shipments by reviewing and validating the carrier performance reports. Works with the carriers to improve performance when the agreed upon timeliness and/or quality drops below established service goals.
Provides traffic advice and assistance, and consults with Guidant locations to ensure efficiency of time and costs (i.e., recommending and selecting carriers, exporting and importing)
Manage sterilization contractors to ensure they provide efficient robust sterilization process capability with continued contingency.
Coach and mentor production teams, motivate individuals to achieve results and recruit and maintain a high quality staff.
Creates and manages departmental financial budgets and sets challenging departmental goals that support the sites current and future objectives
Provide direction in establishing company / departmental policies and procedures
Work cross functionally to establish, prioritize and ensure accountability to projects in improving department or Plant performance (i.e. VIP, STAR, NPE, Lean )

Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management and Business Management, MBA preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in Logistic and Supply Chain Management, proven track record in supervisory and management role in Warehouse Operations.
Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations, including hiring, training and performance management.
Required skill(s): Excellent skills in Inventory management, optimizing warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and reduce cost.
Sound knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, coordination with transportation providers understanding safety and quality compliance Familiar with WMS.
Knowledge and experience in automation and modern warehousing technologies.
