Act as primary liaison between KLA Supply Chain organization and all internal and external partners for all covered programs.
Drive and support new product cost targets, project milestone dates
Drive all Supply Chain PLC deliverables throughout the product design phases, until the release to mass production (Phase 6a) such as:
Definition and execution of sourcing strategies, including detailed quotative and qualitative analysis such as Buy Vs. Make & InSource Vs. OutSource
Drive competitive bids for BOM items to achieve cost and time targets
Negotiate contracts with strategic vendors such as Development, Purchasing and Long-Lead items Agreements
Drive and monitor material procurement to support prototype, Beta and pre-production tools
Drive and lead ECO implementations until Phase 6a (Mass Production) phase
Own all material related program risks and driver: identification, mitigation, management and communication across KLA organization.
Employ supply chain management standard methodologies to secure uninterrupted supply.
Coordinate supplier new product forecast communication to ensure short and long term visibility is available for supplier capacity and delivery planning.
Ensure that efficient inventory levels of commodities are established to meet production launch requirements.
Build supply chain strategies with materials team for new products; work with cross functional team to approve new key suppliers
Set standards for efficiency improvements by effectively deploy process improvement and work standardization
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 4 years
Proven track record in project management and leading multi-disciplinary team with experience on: Defining and implementing supply chain sourcing strategies,Material planning, master scheduling and forecasting, trategic supplier management including QBRs/PRRs
Experience in collaborating with suppliers on industrialization targets
Experience in out-of-the-box creative problem solving
Experience in bottleneck management of manufacturing processes
Ability to improve efficiency and effectivity in technical production environment
