Responsibilities
1. Coordinate with multiple teams to communicate our technical requirements, drive schedules and review and help build test plans that test end-to-end functionality spanning services owned by multiple organisations.
2. Design, execute and automate tests of front end applications, and middle and back-end software across a variety of architectures and cutting-edge technologies.
3. Test systems at the user level, both manually and with automated tools.
4. Grey box testers rather than black-box testers, able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with scripts and/or user-level automated tools.
5. Work with Software Development Engineers and Business Owners to understand the technical implementation of features.7. Help drive the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies, always seeking to avoid defects or find them at the earliest stage possible.Key job responsibilities
Use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or featuresPerform initial defect triage and root cause analysis, and escalate roadblocks/risks
Troubleshoot automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defects
A day in the lifeManage existing automated test cases to ensure they are healthy and reliable.
Deliver QA on-call activities.
Identify opportunities for simplification that will improve quality and speed of delivery. Contribute towards continuous process improvement initiatives.
Build domain and tech expertise over time to independently deliver test cases and test plans for low/medium complexity projects.

- 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)

- Experience in API & Mobile testing
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
