What you’ll do

In your role as an Associate Developer, you will be responsible for the design, coding, testing, and quality assurance in the development team. You will assess and solve issues in new or existing code, and work with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with your team members and other stakeholders such as product managers, user experience colleagues and others to ensure the success of the product. In your day-to-day work, you will:

• Perform all development activities by taking end-to-end ownership of features from design and development through to deployment and ensure quality of the product is maintained.
• Gather and groom requirements to design and develop the cloud service in collaboration with others in a cross-functional team.
• Write clean and well-tested code. Follow laid down processes and guidelines for ensuring thorough code reviews and code check-ins on time
• Work on any incidents that may be reported by customers or by internal stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with other developers and architects from the team to ensure that the best design is adopted for all new feature development activities. Work as part of the Scrum Team.

• Strong communication skills both written and spoken in English
• Programming experience in Java and Springboot
• Sound knowledge in Object Oriented Programming principles and design patterns
• Knowledge of front-end development using javascript and SAPUI5
• Working knowledge of Rest Web Services
• Fundamental knowledge on SQL and databases like HANA and PostGres
