Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards that track key business metrics.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data analysis needs and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Extract, clean, and prepare data from the data lake for analysis using SQL and other data manipulation languages.
- Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling to uncover trends and correlations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools to visualize data and communicate findings.
- Interpret data and analyze results to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with data engineers to ensure data quality and accessibility within the data lake.
- Support the implementation of data governance and data quality standards.
- Document analytical methodologies and create standard operating procedures for recurring analyses.
- Stay current with the latest analytics trends, tools, and techniques.
- Assist in training and guiding business users on data analytics and visualization best practices.
- Manage ad-hoc reporting requests and deliver timely responses to business inquiries.

To qualify for the role you must have
- Relevant Experience: 3-4 years of experience in a data analyst role, with a strong background in data analytics and visualization.
- Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, R, or Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
- Business Intelligence Platforms: Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- SQL and Database Knowledge: Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases for querying and manipulating data.
- Statistical Analysis: Understanding of statistical analysis techniques and experience with statistical software.
- Proven experience in a reporting or data analysis role.
- Strong knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI).
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
What we look for
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Data science or any other relevant certification is preferred
- PowerBI or any other reporting platform experience is a must
- Knowledge on Power Automate, Qlik View , or any other reporting platform is an added advantage
- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred
