We are currently looking for Senior Project Manager to be based on our Project Site. You will see yourself working on a Mega project that’s never been developed before and part of a growing business.
Responsibilities not limited to;
- Act as the formal & main conduit of communication with the Client at senior levels associated with the Projects.
- Achieve compliance with scope, technical and operational requirements defined for the Project in the EPC Contract.
- Achieve on-time, on-budget completion of the Project.
- Ensure that the highest standards of health, safety & environmental management are implemented.
- Contributes to business planning for section and area and participates in strategic decision making.
- Develop & implement project plans & monitoring progress in respect of time, costs & quality.
- Lead initiatives in team culture, continuous performance improvement, and learning and development.
- Ensure effective communication and co-ordination between Functional Managers and the client team.
- Approve, interpret, and execute Jacobs policy, objectives, and standards applicable to the project;
- Implement & monitor systems & policies to ensure that projects are undertaken cost-effectively & in compliance with company policies & statutory obligations.
- Develop & maintain productive relationships with Jacobs’s Operation Centre Managers or any Management Committee, Client, management of parent companies (if any) and key project personnel.
- Identify potential safety, cost, time, quality, procurement, or HR issues & taking corrective action.
- Degree qualified in Engineering with a Chartered status is preferred.
- About 20 years of experience as a Construction Manager or Project Manager or Project Director, is ideal.
- Experience working in the Middle East especially Saudi Arabia is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience working for a Consultant on an Owners Engineer project will be a distinct advantage.
- Advanced Understanding of a wide range of contract execution approaches, including EPC, EPCM, D&C, BOOT, PPAs and their applicable project phases and management.
- Experience with Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) technology.
- Advanced understanding of commercial terms involved on EPC and EPCM projects.
- Thorough understanding key business drivers and of all functions on large scale EPC and EPCM contracts.
- Strong managerial and leadership skills.
- Broad technical knowledge and hands on approach.
- Fluent in both written/verbal English communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of and ability to follow Company & Client policies and procedures.
