As a Strategic Pursuits Designer, you will play a key role in winning high-impact business opportunities. You will combine visual creativity, design thinking, and strategic insights to develop client-facing materials that resonate with our clients’ business priorities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Create innovative cover art, charts, graphs, and visual packaging that support the pursuit theme and connect with client business issues, culture, and market position.
- Develop layouts within EY’s Visual Identity using typography, color, images, and fonts that are clear, engaging, and impactful.
- Participate in kick-offs, strategy sessions, and oral prep meetings, contributing design insights and creative solutions.
- Present design options and approaches that are cohesive, integrated, and enhance the overall pursuit narrative.
- Partner with pursuit teams to provide full-service design and business development support for strategic opportunities.
- Drive creative thinking and design innovation across pursuit teams, ensuring globally consistent standards.
- Help shape messaging and concept design for client-facing materials, including proposals, digital content, and interactive presentations.
- Incorporate client and win/loss insights to enhance pursuit processes and design approaches.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong experience in graphic design with exposure to brand marketing and client-facing materials.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects) and MS Office.
- Ability to produce high-quality work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Use logic and reasoning to find the best design solutions and approach complex challenges.
- Engage confidently with partners, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Keep up with design trends and technologies to create innovative, interactive, and digital content.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (adjust per region).
- 2–3+ years in Graphic Design, Communications, or Pursuits Strategy, ideally within a global organization.
- Familiarity with pursuit activation or new business pitches.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build collaborative relationships across teams.
