We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative MEP Superintendent/ Inspector who will support a multi-faceted building and infrastructure rehabilitation project located at our client’s site in Niagara Falls, NY. You’ll be providing direction in regard to quality, safety, and general day to day operations. You’ll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities of contractors and subcontractors involved in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades at the project site. You’ll ensure that the right materials, equipment, and people are there toget the job done. Utilizing your expertise, you will be performing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing inspection to include all reporting, providing communication to the client, and ensuring that the requirements of the project are successfully met. You’ll have knowledge of the project and construction progress across all trades/scopes of work and be responsible to help coordinate sub/contractor’s daily work activities, help resolve contractors’ questions and resolve design issues.
5+ years of experience in safety aspects of heavy construction on projects
10+ years of field experience in the inspection and testing of work relevant to the scope of electrical, mechanical, civil/structural, geotechnical, architectural, and fire protection disciplines
Strong working knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, and construction phase, building systems/components and technology
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Experience working and operating in a railway / transit system environment
OSHA 30 certification
