As a Product Associate in Home lending team , you play a crucial role in supporting the product development process and contributing to the discovery of innovative solutions that address customer needs. You will ensure the daily health of the platform, conduct hierarchy audits, perform user acceptance testing, support production validation, and contribute to the delivery of the product roadmap. You will identify risks, challenges, opportunities, and growth strategies, while integrating business needs.
Job responsibilities
- Ensure proactive engagement on projects, driving conversations and deliverables that impact the HLCC health and roadmap.
- Partner with the product team for ongoing refinement of the product backlog and execution of the product roadmap.
- Define and present strategy for features, write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and participate in all agile events as a team member.
- Execute production validations, daily health checks, hierarchy audits, and access management.
- Collaborate with interfacing teams/partners to evaluate dependencies, requirements, and schedules.
- Conduct requirement sessions to refine requirements and customer needs, writing epics, stories, testing conditions/scripts, validation criteria, communication plans, and release planning.
- Identify, communicate, and escalate risks, blockers, and impacts that could delay project delivery.
- Manage existing product features and lead the research, definition, and development of new features to advance the product roadmap.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+years of experience in a Business Analyst role with Agile methods, process, and execution.
- Experience in developing business requirements, writing stories, and creating testing conditions, use cases, and validation criteria.
- Ability to work independently and self-directed.
- Collaborative with a high level of comfort and effectiveness in coordination roles, working with multiple business and technology partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Lucid workflow, JIRA, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of Agile process and principles, including use of Agile project management tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA).
- Experience in collaborating with agile cross-functional teams, often through influence
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- CSPO / PSPO I certified.
- Understanding of US Mortgage drivers with some understanding of broader business context.
- Exposure to product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition. Experience in product management focused on technology products is an advantage
- Eagerness to learn new skills, such as Salesforce CRM.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, able to effectively communicate/influence through various levels in the organization.
- Sharp analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
