AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS)
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. • Assist in the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the Data Center/Facility
• Provide assistance to contractor or data center engineers to ensure proper operation, maintenance of all facility equipment and building racks
• Perform site walkthrough to verify proper operation of Facility Equipment and Monitoring System
• Ensure overall availability and reliability for our customers within our Data Centers
• Install new rack equipment
• Decommission existing racks
• Assist root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLA.
• Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.Physical Requirements:
• Walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch. Work at heights and from ladders
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds unassisted; and participate in group lifts for 36 pounds or more
• Daily travel between sites may be required

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 18 years or older
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Has taken or is interested in STEM or vocational course curriculum related to electrical or mechanical field
• Knowledge of generic mechanical-room infrastructure such as chillers, Cooler Units, and fan controls
