Job summary:

As a Analyst or Associate in Prime Financial Services, Global Clearing Product Development, you will be supporting product leads along with our business partners to deliver commercial and robust product solutions related to the Prime Financial Service book of work including, US Treasury Clearing, New Markets & Products and Risk & Margin whilst satisfying the Regulatory agenda. If you have a strong understanding of Clearing and Prime Brokerage fundamentals including clearing, margin, collateral management, regulatory change and trade processing, you have found the right team. You should possess the ability to absorb large amounts of information, identify issues and present resolutions to business and technology partners. As a part of the Product Development team, you will partner with Sales & Trading, Operations, Product Control, Client Service, Transition, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Technology teams. You will also get a chance to apply your skills in processing large amounts of information, identify issues and present resolutions to business and technology partners.

Job responsibilities:

  • Support Product Development program leads, often across multiple streams of work simultaneously, while taking a leading role on key deliverables, balancing the business, client and regulatory needs versus budget
  • Partner with product leads and business stakeholders to determine business goals that clients want to achieve and the products / processes that will support those goals
  • Operate strategically in supporting the design of end-to-end solutions, re-engineering business and operational processes as required
  • Partner in creating product road maps, defining business requirements and managing sponsored deliverables throughout the development cycle, ensuring tangible and successful end-to-end delivery
  • Prepare materials and support in the communication of product strategy, accomplishments and goals to senior stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • You have experience of working in a professional capacity in developing new solutions and creative problem solving with solid judgment and decision making
  • You have an ownership mindset with the ability to break down barriers to achieve results
  • You demonstrate ability to easily switch priorities and day to day activities based on clients and company’s needs whilst maintaining focus on the specific goals

  • You have the ability to manage multiple tasks / priorities and milestones within defined time constraints

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
