Job Description: As a Senior Software Developer, you will:

• Design and develop software across the stack for web applications and engineering tools.

• Work on programming at various layers: data, integration, API, and UI.

• Develop systems, integrations, APIs, and solutions, primarily for engineering.

• Manage and track the software development process from development to production release, collaborating with other IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

• 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support projects by completing tasks for back-end/front-end applications, integrations, and test harnesses.

• Write reliable, testable, and maintainable code under supervision.

• Complete technical tasks for system integrations, APIs, and software lifecycle pipelines.

• Meet project deliverables and deadlines for the software development process.

• Maintain open communication within the project team.

• Network with senior IT Software Developers and seek learning opportunities.

• Contribute to technical conversations with leads/managers.

• Write technical documentation for straightforward projects under supervision.

Level of Responsibility:

• Work under some supervision.

• Responsible for own work with limited decision-making.

• Requires verbal and written communication skills for routine factual information.

• Some tasks require multiple steps and may need creativity for troubleshooting.

• Limited problem-solving, mainly for simple processes or technology.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems).

5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

• 3+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with Full-stack Application Development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)

• 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.
