Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
- Machine operator role working in a small production printing team.
- Operate laser and ink marking machines in the correct manner, as instructed, to the maximum efficiency.
- Complete all production reports and other documentation ensuring good communication and record keeping practices.
- Maintain good quality control of printed products by careful interpretation of job sheet details and inspection of printed tags and perform simple reprints when defects occur.
- May include inspection and cleaning of ink and heat press devices of their own or others machines.
- Promptly raise all machine issues, malfunctions, or product quality concerns with your supervisor or team leader.
- Ensuring a high level of tidiness and organization is maintained around production machine.
- Be proactive in site safety by promptly informing through EH&S Officers and representatives of any hazards, risks, or incidents.
- Remain informed on all company procedures, policies, and other information by participating in shift toolbox meetings and completing policy training.
- Training junior staff when required.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Quality and Environmental Health & Safety procedures and policies.
- Participate in biannual stock takes.
- Carry out other assignments as requested by your supervisor

- Effective operation of limited production tasks, plant, and equipment

- Demonstrate ethics and integrity, in line with company policy, and ensure responsible use of company assets particularly related to operation of plant and equipment
