Your key responsibilities

• End to end accounting experience including month end closing, financial reporting and financial year closing process
• Examine and evaluate existing R to R processes, identifying areas for improvement
• Analyze invoices, Book invoices, Depreciation, Payroll, accruals, maintain book of accounts and payment runs
• Develop and maintain documentation for R-to-R process and procedures
• Proficient in accounting principles and Microsoft office
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication Skills
• Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Vat returns for German Corporates
• Meticulous adherence to the compliance calendar of client to ensure smooth closure of books, reconciliations and reporting
• Gain a thorough understanding of business processes and operations adopted by the client to identify their requirements and ensure it is met through regular updates, schedules and reports
• Ability to deliver the quality work on time
• To foster working relationships with the team and be a good team player

To qualify for the role you must have

• B.COM or M.COM or MBA with good communication skill
• End to end knowledge of accounting processes, accounting principles (IFRS)
• Good at Microsoft Office
• Basic German Knowledge

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of Datev Software
