MER HRBP and Cluster/Hub HR Leader
One of your primary responsibilities will be to serve as the strategic HR Partner to the MER Regional President for Human Health & collaborate with their leadership team and other regional leaders across the enterprise. Drawing on your expertise and experience, you will develop and drive HR strategies and plans that align with our business objectives. This will span human and animal health, research, manufacturing, and commercial activities.
As the HR Partner, you will coach, provide guidance and support organizational talent development, diversity and inclusion strategies, talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, change management, leader effectiveness, performance management, compensation and rewards, and escalated employee relations issues. Additionally, you will act as an employee champion and change agent, seeking to implement integrated HR solutions that address the unique needs of our business and organization. Critical to success will be having insight and curiosity for our diverse business and translating those into actions pertaining to our people, culture and organization.
Reporting to the Head of International Human Resources, you will have the accountability and authority to drive HR initiatives and make a significant impact in our Mid Europe HH business and also HR in the markets within scope. You will also have a dotted line reporting to the AVP, Head of Europe & Canada HR to ensure close connection and collaboration across the continent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of HRBPs and a matrixed team of resources across the enterprise to support human capital initiatives.
- Provide HR and executive coaching support to senior leaders in the Mid Europe region, including direct HR Partnership to the MER Regional President for Human Health Commercial.
- Support talent management, organizational design, and organizational alignment activities for the business.
- Lead restructuring activities when necessary and contribute to organizational change management.
- Champion and support cultural transformation and diversity & inclusion strategies, promoting compliant and ethical behavior.
- Coach leaders and members of leadership teams in effectively managing all people management processes, including talent management, performance management, and compensation planning.
- Partner with the learning organization to develop learning strategies and solutions that align with our talent strategy.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition organization on activities related to our workforce plan and talent strategy.
- Collaborate with Compliance and legal colleagues to effectively manage labor and employee relations topics and foster a safe culture.
- Collaborate across the HR network and with other stakeholders to resolve escalated issues and generate solutions that align with our business strategy.
- Represent the voice of Cluster and Hub markets, as part of enterprise HR initiatives, helping to shape planning and execution of key enterprise initiatives.
- Interface and coordinate with Europe & Canada HR to stay in close alignment on enterprise wide activities and HR operations
- As part of supporting the HH MER business, regularly connect and pull together the HR leaders for all markets within HH MER Scope to drive connection, alignment, synergies in support of the HH business
- As a member of the International HR Leadership team, collaborate and partner with peer HR leaders across the globe to share best practices, advance solutions, drive cross border talent movement and enable HR development.

- Demonstrated experience in organization development, including organization design, change management, and workforce planning.
- Demonstrated ability in learning agility and innovation, strategic partnering and influencing, talent acumen and assessment, analytics and decision making, and results orientation.
- Strong strategic thinking and business savviness, with the capability to translate business needs and priorities into effective people and culture plans.
- Experience operating, adapting and influencing across cultural boundaries
- Highly effective communicator in English with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the business.
- Strong HR functional competence in one or more HR disciplines.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, having lead an HRBP team previously.
