The tasks & responsibilities are:
As Senior Specialist Accounting you have an all-round function within the company. You have the change to develop a good understanding of the overall Finance organization and the broader business. Plus, you can truly build and develop your network and partnerships with several stakeholders.
The Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Sr. Specialist is responsible for the financial reporting of our company and several holding companies;
- Continue to meet S404 Requirements, updating documentation and performing enhancing controls in close cooperation with the AD Financial Control & Compliance;
- Project management;
- Maintain a strong entity control environment on financial, operational, and external business relationships which require due diligence on legal review of contracts;
- Preparation of entity profitability, annual accounts, and corporate income tax;
- Financial Supply Chain changes and impact on profitability;
- Assess financial impacts of complex projects to the entity. This may include financial supply chain, system implementation, and business deals;
- Statutory Financial statement tool owner;
- Partner with other entity Sr. Specialists to design and implement ways to streamline and standardize activities;
- Prepare and support Quarterly Financial results meeting with International Controller;
- Monitor financial analysis, accounting practices and reports for Statutory reporting (Dutch GAAP);
- Review of yearly tax returns and support in preparation of annual reports of our holdings, review Corporate Income Tax calculation and monitor iTaxstream reporting, review and deliver promptly critical reporting requirements including global and statutory financials of the entity.
Your profile
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in Accounting;
- Demonstrates understanding of national and regional finance laws, regulations, and standards and applies them appropriately to ensure the financial integrity of the business and financial statements;
- Adheres to the highest standards of ethical behavior in all interactions and hold others to the same standards; comply with all laws, policies, and regulations; identify and address ethical issues without hesitation;
- Stakeholder focused, resilient and reliable person;
- Builds trust and credibility by delivering results and following through on commitments;
- Ability to influence and coordinate teams;
- Experience with Analytic Data and Prescriptive analytics is a preference;
- Committed to travel within the country;
- Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
