Job Overview:

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions to support the organization's data-driven decision-making processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other IT professionals to gather requirements, design data models, and create visualizations that deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users to understand their data and reporting needs.
• Analyze and document business requirements for BI solutions.
• Design and develop data models that support business reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in data models.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Monitor and optimize ETL performance.
• Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
• Customize and enhance existing reports to meet evolving business needs.
• Work with database administrators to optimize database performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure data solutions align with organizational goals.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and solutions.
• Document data models, ETL processes, and report specifications.
• Maintain documentation for future reference and team collaboration.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BI and analytics.

• Years of experience – 0 – 3
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or Equivalent field or experience.
• Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
