Job Overview: Meeting Area, Frequency and Power requirements are some of the most meaningful activities in CPU development and require a large amount of computing, as well as analyzing large datasets to extract relevant information.
As part of the CPU implementation team, you will:
Automate, manage and improve flow environment, dependencies management, continuous integration, job dispatch mechanism, in-house results database and reports/results viewers.
Help produce improved Power/Performance/area CPU micro-architecture.
Required Skills and Experience: - Preferably graduated from a University or Engineering School, in Computer Science or related. First experience with scripting/automation would be welcomed.
- Database creation and maintenance (SQL / SQLAlchemy).
- Knowledge of continuous integration environment (Jenkins or Bamboo for example).
- Scripting (Python, TCL, Bash) and experience with data analysis and visualization frameworks, for automation, user interface and user friendliness.
- Exposure to Confluence and Jira to detail and monitor activities.
- Ability to schedule own workload and plan tasks.
- Good interpersonal skills.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience: - Understanding of Power versus Performance versus Area tradeoff in typical CMOS design.
- Working in UNIX/Linux environment, with bug tracking and source code control systems, especially GIT.
- Able to work in French and in English.
