As a Network Operations Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures when working with or instructing field technicians;
• Participating in meetings during US business hours to share knowledge, discuss ongoing projects, and brainstorm solutions collaboratively
• Contributing to the successful deployment of new DWDM networks, acquiring practical experience in network build-out.
• Assisting with network augmentations and upgrades, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Playing a key role in troubleshooting complex live network issues, utilizing advanced skills like OTDR analysis.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.
• Have 5-7 years of experience in DWDM network deployment, operation, troubleshooting and design.
• Have experience working on equipment from common DWDM vendors.
• Have knowledge of Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR)
• Have passion for network automation and possess experience with Python scripting
• Be a goodteam player, collaborating with people from across the business and have fluency in English language
