Investor Relations:
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's financial performance, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Execute a comprehensive and continually improving investor relations strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Manage all communications with investors, including earnings calls, investor conferences, roadshows, and one-on-one meetings.
- Prepare investor presentations, press releases, and other investor-related materials in a timely manner and with extreme focus on accuracy.
- Manage internal stakeholder alignment on all investor outreach materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with sell-side analysts, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of best practices in investor relations and corporate communications.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and communications teams.
- Effectively communicate with and navigate the Board of Directors on investor relations matters.
Financial Strategy & Corporate Development:
- Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess the potential benefits and risks of M&A transactions.
- Participate in due diligence activities and negotiations.
- Support the integration of acquired companies.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify potential partnerships and alliances.
- Partner with FP&A to develop and refine financial forecasts and models, but also demonstrate the ability to work independently and resourcefully to gather and analyze data.
- Help operationalize financial strategies by translating high-level plans into actionable steps and driving execution across different departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, or a related field, with a proven track record in M&A and/or corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, Board members, and potential M&A partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with public company reporting requirements.
- Ability to thrive in an environment with ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to run processes on time,, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of tasks.
- MBA or CFA is a plus.
Base Salary Range:
- NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $212,000 - $265,000
- All other US cities outside above metro areas: $190,800 - $262,350
