Job Description

Expected to contribute to or lead the specification of requirements based on the engineer's assigned customer/product group or varying level of project complexity and risk for the organization. Encouraged to learn and gather subject matter expertise on one assigned product or product family. Able to independently design and integrate feature updates/requirements in a robust recipe format, clearly define the gap or defect within the system, and provide support for the definition and implementation features. Act as an advisor to senior level contributors and managers within the field or central engineering sites on defect resolution, prototyping, simulation, and integration.

Has a thorough understanding of recipe writing and design for tool infrastructure, operating systems, and large-scale experimentation and deployment. Able to contribute to the design and design reviews of small to medium subsystems. Has a practical as well as theoretical knowledge and understanding of design for areas such as optimization of performance, maintainability, diagnostics, serviceability, quality, reliability, etc.

Incorporates engineering principles and product certification trainings to maximize the measurement capabilities and increase the number of layers that can be accessed within image quality enhancement, defect detection, and classification.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
