Key job responsibilities
As an SDE, you are responsible for setting a high bar throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, and operations.A day in the life
Work with your leadership to define and execute the data engineering strategy for WWGDT.
Leverage SQL and coding skills (e.g., .Net, Python, Java, etc.) to extract, transform, and load data.Work within multiple technology stacks including working within custom built proprietary AWS framework to deliver data solutions
Participate and lead standups and design sessions, maintain Jira health, and create artifacts

- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Strong debugging/trouble-shooting skills of embedded systems
- Experience with real time debugging tools (software)
- Experience with Windows server 2012+
- Experience with Microsoft BI technologies, e.g. SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS.
- Experience with AWS services (Redshift, S3, EC2, Lambda, SNS/SQS, RDS, Aurora) preferred.
