Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving test and automation strategies in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure
Provide technical leadership to an agile team of 3-5 engineers
Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision
Translate requirements/vision into prioritized list of user stories, test and automation scope and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
Work with product line leaders and architects to develop multi generation software technology test plans
Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities
Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables
Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products
Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge
Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 12+ years of experience.
Technical Expertise:
Has extensive experience in test automation
Expert in developing and executing maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
Skilled in integrating project testing withcontinuous-integrationprocess.
Experience in defining system design, verification and validation strategy, implementation and release
Selenium/Python based scripting and automation with CI/CD integration and DevOps
End to End automation for AWS / Kubernetes / microservices based API deployments
Deep experience in NFR testing (e.g Scalability, Reliability, Performance etc) optimization and reporting, on AWS
Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.
Able to lead early stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches, and integrate with their legacy tech investments.
Business Acumen:
Excellent problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems
Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective
Leadership:
Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas
Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill

Able to work under minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility.
